Universal Fabricators was contracted to fabricate the steel compression components for the first two Tension Arch Bridges built anywhere. Already set in place, the photo displays the hot dip galvanized tubes, angle, etc. that Univeral fabricate and delivered to War township.
Pullman Power subcontracted to Universal the ductwork required to service the SO² removal system at the Harrison Power Plant in Haywood, West Virginia. Due to the enormous size of many of the individual panels that comprised each duct, we modified the Plant Facilities Structure and enhanced out material handling, fabricating, and oversize load shipping capabilities.
Here's a view of the inside of our fabrication facility. Comprised of approximately 50,000 square feet, our shop area offers the ability to fabricate a maximum outside dimension of 40 feet wide by 20 feet high by 100 feet long. Our largest shipping door measures 24 feet high by 24 feet wide.
Universal Fabricators Inc. offers delivery service to all of the continental United States. Pictured is our 1988 Freightliner Semi-Tractor pulling our 1980 Fontaine Drop-Deck Trailer. We can ship via the Baltimore & Ohio rail system, and have access to water shipping terminals.
